Retail Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Retail Assistant to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist customers by explaining product features and benefits.
Maintain store display standards and arrange merchandise neatly and attractively.
Replenish merchandise and shelves according to company Standard Operating Procedures.
Handle fresh products such as vegetables and fruits with care to ensure quality, freshness, and hygiene.
Conduct quality, expiry, and out-of-stock checks regularly, especially for fresh items.
Ensure accurate price tagging and price ticket display.
Quote prices, credit terms, and quantity discounts where applicable.
Achieve sales targets while delivering excellent customer service and operational support.
Participate in stock-taking activities.
Perform general housekeeping to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including fresh produce areas.
Operate the cashier counter and process sales transactions when required.
Process and pick online orders accurately, ensuring product freshness and quality.
Support in-store order fulfilment for customers.
Participate in store innovation and productivity initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements:
Good team player with the ability to multi-task.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with handling fresh produce and performing other ad-hoc duties as required.
