JOB SUMMARY:

The Instructional Designer in the higher education industry plays a crucial ro enhancing the quality of teaching and learning experiences by designing developing effective and engaging educational content and materials. This requires a strong understanding of pedagogical principles, educational technology, and curriculum design to support faculty and instructional teams in creating impactful online and blended courses.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Designing effective, interactive, and engaging course across a variety of industries

2. Developing Learning courses from design documents

3. Ensure all materials are consistent and aligned with learning and development guidelines and established standards.

4. Write scripts/storyboard for Learning modules and videos.

5. Incorporate graphics, video, or photography to support course development.

6. Demonstrate and apply knowledge of appropriate tools and resources used to develop training content including MS Word, Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Snagit, etc.

7. Managing several instructional design and development projects at once

8. Writing, editing, formatting, and otherwise producing classroom materials that are components in learning courses

9. Develop innovative approaches that incorporate industry trends and best practices.

10. Write supporting materials for learning activities such as agendas, schedules, quick reference guides, FAQs, handouts, job aids, trainer and participant guides.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
