TRC Global is seeking an experienced International Trading Executive to be based in its Malaysian office. This position will exclusively manage overseas procurement operations supporting Monarch One Group’s construction projects in Australia. The successful candidate will lead the international sourcing of construction materials, coordinate directly with overseas manufacturers and suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, and oversee end-to-end procurement logistics to ensure timely, compliant, and quality delivery to Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• International sourcing of construction materials and building products from global manufacturers.
• Direct liaison and relationship management with overseas suppliers and factories.
• Negotiation of pricing, trade terms, contracts, and supply agreements.
• Coordination of logistics, freight, and shipment management to Australia.
• Monitoring production schedules and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and documentation accuracy.
• Working closely with construction trades and project stakeholders to align procurement schedules with project timelines.
• Preparing procurement reports, cost analysis, and supplier performance evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Qualification, or equivalent experience in International Trade, Business, Procurement, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in international trading or procurement.
• Proven experience managing overseas suppliers and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Mandarin proficiency preferred, as the role requires regular liaison and coordination with suppliers in China.
• Experience within construction, building materials, or property development supply chains will be highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of freight, international shipping, and import/export procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• High attention to detail with strong commercial acumen.
• Willingness to be based in Malaysia and work closely with Australian project teams.
