Talent Development Consultant (Consultative Sales)

We are looking for a commercially driven Talent Development Consultant who enjoys building relationships, uncovering client needs, and converting opportunities into meaningful business outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with business owners, HR leaders, and decision-makers
- Conduct consultative discussions to uncover organisational and workforce challenges
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and client engagement activities
- Manage the sales pipeline and follow through opportunities from initial engagement to closure
- Prepare and present proposals tailored to client needs
- Negotiate and close business opportunities
Solution Consulting
- Recommend suitable talent development, leadership development, teambuilding, employee engagement, and organisational development solutions
- Work closely with internal consultants and delivery teams to ensure solutions address client needs
- Support clients throughout the engagement journey to maximise outcomes and satisfaction
Account Growth
- Build long-term relationships with clients and identify opportunities for repeat business
- Expand existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling of solutions
- Contribute to portfolio growth and achievement of revenue targets
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, consultative sales, business development, HR solutions, training sales, recruitment services, consulting services, or related industries
- Strong ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets or business development goals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded and comfortable discussing business outcomes
- Self-driven, resilient, and results-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
