Key Responsibilities

• Plan and control inventory levels by determining reorder points and quantities for raw materials based on sales forecasts and actual consumption trends.
• Maintain appropriate safety stock levels to prevent material shortages and support uninterrupted production.
• Monitor and analyze inventory performance to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials to support production requirements.
• Coordinate closely with production teams on schedules, capacity planning, and material requirements.
• Prepare and distribute outstanding schedule reports and monitor pending or delayed job orders.
• Liaise with the purchasing team to expedite urgent raw material deliveries and resolve material shortages.
• Collaborate with production and sales teams to manage backlog orders, recovery plans, and delivery commitments.
• Propose revised delivery schedules when customer delivery dates cannot be met.
• Communicate changes in order quantities and delivery timelines based on updated forecasts and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate supply chain records, reports, and documentation.
• Perform other duties assigned by management to support supply chain operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in inventory control, material planning, production planning, or supply chain coordination.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems will be an added advantage.
• Able to work effectively with production, purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
