Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our shop floor operations and will be responsible for meeting production deadlines while maintaining the high precision standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Scheduling
Direct and supervise daily activities for the production team to ensure targets are met.
Allocate manpower effectively.
Train and mentor junior operators on machine safety and operational best practices.
2. Hands-On Machine Operation
Step in to operate machines during peak periods.
Perform machine setups and changeovers for metal stamping and precision spring production.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor adjustments to minimize downtime.
3. Quality Assurance & Control
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure parts match technical drawings.
Utilize precision measuring tools
Identify defects and implement immediate corrective actions to reduce scrap and rework.
4. Safety & Workflow Optimization
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Identify bottlenecks in the production line and suggest workflow improvements.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in metal stamping or precision spring manufacturing.
Technical Skills: Proficient in operating and setting up production machinery; ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints.
Quality Expertise: Proven experience using precision measuring instruments and understanding ISO quality standards.
Leadership: Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse production team.
Education: Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing.
