Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Import Export Manager is responsible for leading and managing import/export, customs clearance, transportation, and logistics operations to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and smooth execution of shipment activities
.This role oversees the logistics team, coordinates with internal stakeholders and external service providers, and drives operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and timely delivery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
.
Key Responsibiliti
es· Lead and manage daily import/export and logistics operations to support business and manufacturing requirement
s.· Supervise, coach, and develop the logistics team, including manpower planning, recruitment, training, and performance managemen
t.· Ensure all import and export activities comply with applicable customs regulations, trade compliance requirements, and company policie
s.· Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and government authorities to ensure smooth shipment and customs clearance processe
s.· Review shipping and trade documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with import/export regulation
s.· Monitor shipment schedules and transportation activities to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficienc
y.· Resolve shipment, customs, transportation, and logistics-related issues in a timely and effective manne
r.· Evaluate and manage logistics service providers and freight forwarders to ensure service quality, cost efficiency, and operational performanc
e.· Maintain accurate logistics records and ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purpose
s.· Support and maintain ISO-related documentation and logistics operational procedure
s.· Prepare logistics performance reports, shipment analysis, and operational updates for management revie
w.· Develop, implement, and continuously improve logistics procedures, workflows, and operational policie
s.· Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Finance, and external partners to support business operation
s.· Identify opportunities for process improvement, logistics optimization, and cost reduction initiative
s.· Provide practical and scalable logistics solutions to support business growth and operational requirement
s.· Support additional projects and operational activities assigned by managemen

Requireme
nts· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipli
ne.· Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environme
nt.· Prior team management or leadership experience is requir
ed.· Familiarity with Singapore Customs regulations, international trade compliance, and import/export procedur
es.· Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation provide
rs.· Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoin
