Senior Tender Engineer (Marine Civil Construction)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tender Engineer for our client to join a leading contractor specializing in marine and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage tender submissions for marine civil projects, including dredging, reclamation, port development, and infrastructure works.

Review tender documents, project specifications, scope of work, and contractual requirements to develop competitive bid strategies.

Support the development of construction methodologies, project schedules, and tender plans.

Collaborate closely with engineering, quantity surveying, finance, and operations teams to identify cost efficiencies and assess project risks.

Prepare comprehensive tender proposals, including cost estimates, execution methodologies, and project timelines for management approval.

Ensure all tender submissions meet contractual, technical, legal, and commercial requirements prior to submission.

Participate in client meetings, tender interviews, and post-tender clarifications, while supporting smooth project handovers upon award.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of experience within the construction industry, with strong exposure to tendering and bidding activities.

Experience in marine civil construction projects such as dredging, reclamation, coastal protection, ports, or related infrastructure works will be highly advantageous.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD, and construction planning or project management software.

Good understanding of local tendering processes, industry regulations, and contractual frameworks.
