Role Description

  • Position: Account Manager
  • Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
  • Location: WP. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia


We are searching for a communicative, proactive, and passionate Account Manager to manage a portfolio of client accounts. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will act as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience, while building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships based on trust and respect.


To succeed, you should be resourceful, analytical, and highly organized, with a natural ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively across both internal teams and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Communicate regularly with clients to understand their business objectives, explain product value, and build long-term trust.
  • Growth & Strategy: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities that align with client needs to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Data & Insights: Collect, track, and analyze client data and consumer behavior to monitor performance against agreed targets, share industry trends, and inform strategic recommendations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal sales, marketing, and operations departments to facilitate client need fulfillment, collect sales leads, and gather testimonials.
  • Account Maintenance: Keep accurate records pertaining to account notes and maintain deeply updated, extensive knowledge of our company’s products and services.
  • Problem Resolution: Address client complaints promptly, resolve complex issues, and proactively optimize processes to support continuous improvement in the client experience.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Proven account management, client-facing, or business development experience. Experience in contact centers, SaaS, CRM, or data-driven customer engagement solutions is highly advantageous.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Data Literacy: Comfort working with data-driven solutions, including the ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data to inform performance tracking.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, active listening, adaptability, and top-tier negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organization: Solid time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and internal records in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional regional languages is a plus.
