Job Summary
Assist chefs and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations while following food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients for cooking.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation and plating.
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, floors, and storage areas.
• Receive, unpack, and store food deliveries properly.
• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors when supplies are low.
• Dispose of waste and maintain proper waste segregation.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Requirements

• No experience required (training provided) or prior kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene practices is an advantage.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.

Working Conditions
