Job Description

Responsibilities

Work Schedule: 5.5 days (Alter Sat)
Location: Tuas (Transport provided at fixed location)

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment by posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting background checks, and preparing employment contracts

  • Administer Work Pass processes including applications, issuance, renewals, cancellations, MOM submissions, foreign worker bonds, and PCP administration

  • Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding by coordinating orientation, managing documentation, facilitating handovers, and conducting exit clearance

  • Maintain accurate employee records including leave tracking, benefits administration, and timesheet management

  • Process monthly payroll, tax clearance, and employee reimbursements accurately and timely

  • Manage staff insurance, medical claims, and work injury compensation cases, including those involving foreign workers

  • Prepare and manage HR documentation such as confirmation letters, promotion letters, increment letters, and bonus letters

  • Provide clear guidance and support to management and employees on HR matters and local employment practices

  • Support HR processes and documentation required for ISO certification and audits

  • Coordinate staff training programs and maintain comprehensive training records

  • Ensure proper HR documentation, filing, and record-keeping to maintain compliance and accessibility

  • Provide operational support and backup within the HR team during absences of other members

  • Communicate HR policies and procedures effectively to employees as needed

  • Perform other ad-hoc HR duties as assigned to support team and organizational needs

Requirements

  • Diploma Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience. Experience in Construction industry will be an added advantage.

  • Good knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.

  • Good communication skills to liaise with employees at all levels.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and friendly approach.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.

  • Able to commence work immediately or within short notice will be any added advantage.
