Job Description

Responsibilities

YF Life Insurance International Ltd. is a major life insurance company in Hong Kong and Macau, providing one-stop risk- and wealth-management services. Our scope of business ranges from insurance, investment, and retirement to MPF.

Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with the risk management framework, policies, and procedures in Life Operations.

Identify, assess, and control operational risks in HK & Macau business processes.

Oversee and track action plans addressing regulator inspection results.

Establish and review procedure manuals for AML, FATCA/CRA, Data Retention, etc.

Collaborate with Life Operations, Legal & Compliance, Risk Management, and Internal Audit departments to bridge the 1st and 2nd lines of defense:

Coordinate regulatory inspections, internal reviews, risk assessments, and follow-up monitoring.

Assist Life Operations in implementing process controls as the 1st line of defense.

Review procedures and user requirements for regulatory enhancements in Life Operations.

Requirements:
Degree holder in Business, Accounting, Risk Management and/or related disciplines

At least 7 years of audit/compliance/risk management related experience in financial service sector, preferably in insurance, and with sound knowledge of life insurance operations

Detail-oriented, with a positive attitude and self-motivation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective project management and communication skills

Able to work under pressure with good time management

Experience with regulatory inspections familiarity with regulatory requirements related to Operations is an advantage

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
