Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Shipping Executive role based in Petaling Jaya. The Shipping Executive will coordinate export shipments, including preparing and verifying export documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and liaising with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams. The role involves booking freight, tracking cargo movements, resolving shipment issues or delays, and maintaining accurate shipment records in internal systems. The Shipping Executive will communicate with customers and overseas agents to provide shipment status updates and handle inquiries in a timely and professional manner. The position also includes supporting continuous improvement of shipping processes, cost efficiency, and service quality.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in export operations, including Export and Export Documentation, with awareness of relevant regulations and trade terms (e.g., Incoterms).
• Experience in freight and forwarding, including coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics partners.
• Ability to work with logistics systems for shipment tracking, documentation, and data entry.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle shipment disruptions and escalate issues appropriately.
• Previous experience in international logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding is preferred.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
