About the role

We are seeking a talented Content Creator to join Berlitz Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and creative freedom. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing, producing and managing engaging content across multiple platforms and formats. Your work will be instrumental in enhancing our brand presence and connecting with our diverse audience in the education and language learning sector. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and strategy, where your contributions will directly impact our marketing initiatives and audience engagement.

Key responsibilities

1. Conceptualise, create and produce high-quality content including written articles, video scripts, social media posts, graphics and multimedia materials

2. Develop content that aligns with Berlitz brand guidelines, voice and messaging across all marketing channels

3. Research industry trends, audience preferences and competitor strategies to inform content strategy and maintain relevance

4. Collaborate with marketing, design and management teams to ensure consistent content delivery and campaign execution

5. Manage content calendars and ensure timely publication across digital platforms including social media, website and email marketing

6. Monitor content performance metrics and audience engagement to optimise future content creation efforts

7. Edit and refine content for clarity, consistency and adherence to brand standards

8. Adapt and repurpose content for different formats and platforms to maximise reach and engagement

9. Stay updated with content creation tools, technologies and best practices within the digital media landscape

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, or related roles, preferably within the education, media or marketing sectors

2. Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to create engaging, clear and persuasive content for diverse audiences

3. Proficiency in content management systems and familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices

4. Creative mindset with the ability to generate original ideas and concepts that resonate with target audiences

5. Basic graphic design skills or experience using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar platforms

6. Familiarity with video content creation, editing or production is advantageous

7. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst meeting deadlines

8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, error-free content

9. Knowledge of SEO and content optimisation principles is preferred

10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a flexible, casual working environment
