Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for higher-level assemblies, including electromechanical modules, frames, panels, cable-integrated assemblies, and system-level builds.
Partner closely with Engineering to ensure designs are manufacturable, serviceable, and scalable, providing DFM/DFA feedback during NPI and design reviews.
Define assembly flows, work instructions, tooling concepts, fixtures, and process documentation to support NPI builds and production ramp-up.
Support NPI programs from prototype through pilot and volume builds, ensuring smooth transitions into production.
Establish and maintain process controls to ensure consistent build quality, repeatability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to assembly fit, alignment, tolerance stack-ups, wiring, integration, and functional performance.
Collaborate with Quality Engineering to address non-conformances, drive root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support supplier and customer engagement for HLA-related components and sub-assemblies, ensuring alignment to process and quality requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturability, yield improvement, cycle-time reduction, and process robustness.
Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to production teams during complex builds, rework, and engineering changes.
