GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Monitor the performance of air conditioning system by carry out IAQ test, air performance test to ensure PTS system in good working order. Compile and submit completed job sheet / service sheet both planned preventive maintenance and corrective documentation to the superior.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1.To perform the planned preventive maintenance schedule as programmed.  2.To perform corrective work as per finding and request. 

3.To compile and submit the completed job sheet/ service sheet both planned preventive maintenance and corrective documentations to the superior. 

4.To ensure all air conditioning system in the building are in a good operation at all time. 

5.To ensure IAQ test, air performance test been carried out as and when necessary. 

6.To hands-on and monitor cross work by other technician, handyman, contractor prior to air conditioning system. 

7.Performs quality control checks on all preventive maintenance equipment and make all necessary procedure updates on the equipment files. 

8.To ensure PTS (Pneumatic Tube System) system in good working order, follow up with contractor to carry out PPM and to solve any contractor’s finding or faulty at site.

10.To perform any others duties as and when required by the management. 

11.To cover shift staffs if necessary. 

12.To actively involved in all hospital accreditation and activities, 5S, Patient Safety Goal, IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001), MSQH (Malaysian Society for Quality in Health), JCI (Joint Commissioning International). 

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education : 

• Certificate / Diploma in related field i.e Mechanical / M&E.
• Possess other engineering certificates related to facilities management.

Knowledge and Experiences:

• At least 3 years experiences in Maintenance & Engineering and specialized in air conditioner system.
• Interpersonal skill & dedicated team player
• Possess good communication

Skills & Competencies:

• Monitor the performance of air conditioning system by carry out IAQ test, air performance test to ensure PTS system in good working order.
• Compile and submit completed job sheet / service sheet both planned preventive maintenance and corrective documentation to the superior.

Special skills required:

• HVAC System Knowledge: Understanding the operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and chillers.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identifying and resolving issues in air conditioning and chiller systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Refrigerant Handling and Management: Properly handling and managing refrigerants, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Systems Installation and Maintenance: Installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and chiller systems for efficient operation.
