Company Description Voltan Motorsports is a highly competitive, student-led racing team from Marlborough College Malaysia in Pulai, Johor Bahru, competing in STEM Racing and F1 in Schools competitions. The team has achieved strong results, including 5th place in the 2025 STEM Racing Johor Finals and 3rd place in the 2026 Marlborough Grand Prix, and is targeting a podium finish at the 2026 STEM Racing Southern Malaysia Regional Finals. Voltan Motorsports focuses on engineering high-performance solutions through data-driven analysis, rigorous testing, and continuous optimisation to maximise measurable performance and competitive advantage. The team’s vision is to deliver standout performances that impress judges and the community through excellence in engineering, branding, and execution. Guided by values of community impact, sustainability, teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement, the team works closely with partners such as Neuron Mobility, Eccssana, Matrix Archive, and The Teeser Apparel to support global and regional initiatives, including the Johor-Singapore SEZ and the 17 Weeks 17 Goals sustainability program.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Graphic Designer role based in Pulai. The Graphic Designer will create visual assets that strengthen the team’s brand across print, digital, and event materials, including race car liveries, social media graphics, presentations, and sponsorship decks. The role includes developing and refining logos, brand elements, and visual guidelines that align with the team’s mission, vision, and partnerships. The Graphic Designer will collaborate with team members across engineering, marketing, and operations to translate technical ideas and race achievements into clear, compelling visuals. Daily responsibilities also include preparing files for production, iterating on designs based on feedback, and ensuring consistency and quality across all visual communications.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in visual communication, including Graphics and Graphic Design skills.
• Experience in Logo Design and Branding to develop and maintain cohesive team and partner identities.
• Proficiency in Typography and layout to create clear, readable, and engaging visual materials.
• Ability to use industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalents).
• Portfolio demonstrating creative work relevant to sports, motorsports, education, or youth-led initiatives is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to respond constructively to feedback in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working on-site in Pulai and collaborating within a diverse, student-led team structure.
• Interest in motorsports, STEM, or sustainability-focused projects is beneficial.
