Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand Japan business. My client HQ in Europe that specializes in innovative engineering, automation and industrial solutions machinery manufacturer. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and building strong customer relationships across Japan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets in Japan
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and sales forecasting
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to align sales strategies with business objectives
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings across Japan
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business decisions
  • Provide regular sales reports and performance updates to senior management

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, machinery, equipment, automation, or related industries
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the Japanese market
  • Native or business-fluent Japanese (written and spoken) and strong English communication skills
  • Deep understanding of Japanese business culture, decision-making processes, and corporate etiquette
  • Ability to travel domestically within Japan as needed
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with CRM tools
