Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in Bayan Lepas. The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of customers, build strong relationships with key contacts, and serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day inquiries. Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, preparing quotations, coordinating orders, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery in collaboration with internal teams such as sales support, logistics, and finance. The role involves monitoring account performance, tracking forecasts, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue and expand product or service offerings. The Account Manager will also handle issue resolution, follow up on customer feedback, support credit and payment matters, and prepare regular account reports for management.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a service-oriented mindset and effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical or commercial information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with data, reporting, and using CRM or ERP systems to track account activities.
  • Experience in sales, account management, or customer service, preferably in electronics, components, or technology-related industries.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email) and willingness to learn internal business systems and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bayan Lepas, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and adapt to changing customer and business needs.
