Job Summary

You will perform administrative and clerical tasks to support office operations, including scheduling, filing, phone handling, and basic bookkeeping to ensure smooth daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update files and records to ensure easy access and accuracy
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail for timely delivery
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate colleagues efficiently
• Operate office equipment such as photocopiers and printers and use computers for word processing and spreadsheet tasks
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks including issuing invoices, checks, and updating employee leave records accurately
• Assist in managing office organization procedures to support smooth operations
• Monitor office supply inventory and report shortages promptly to maintain stock levels
• Complete additional office duties as assigned to support team needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven experience as an office clerk or in a clerical position
• Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
• Working knowledge of office devices and processes
• Proficiency in typing, stenography, and taking dictations
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
