About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Sales Executive to join SPACE UP DESIGN SDN. BHD. in Alor Setar, Kedah. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and building strong client relationships. As a Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of our business development efforts, responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and converting leads into long-term partnerships. This role is essential to our continued expansion and success in the market.
What you'll be doing
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities within your assigned territory, utilising both inbound and outbound sales strategies
- Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions that align with SPACE UP DESIGN SDN. BHD. offerings
- Develop and maintain comprehensive client relationships throughout the sales cycle and beyond
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers
- Negotiate terms, pricing and contracts to close sales whilst maintaining healthy profit margins
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions and pipeline progress using our customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, design and operations to ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution
- Attend industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads
- Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, competitor activity and customer insights
What we're looking for
- Proven track record in sales, with at least 1-2 years of experience in a sales representative or consultant role, preferably in design, creative services or a related industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a demonstrated ability to convert leads into clients
- Self-motivated and results-driven mentality with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of sales techniques, customer relationship management and the sales pipeline process
- Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team player
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field is preferred
