Role Description

The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and program PLC logic for automation systems, robotics integration, and motion control applications, ensuring reliable and efficient system performance. Responsibilities include creating and modifying control programs, configuring HMI interfaces, performing system testing and debugging. The role involves collaborating closely with project engineers, mechanical and electrical teams, and customers to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and implement improvements.


Qualifications

  • PLC programming skills (e.g., ladder logic, structured text, function block) and experience with major PLC platforms (e.g., Delta, Siemens, Omron, Panasonic and etc).
  • Knowledge of HMI configuration, industrial networks, and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
  • Understanding of industrial automation, robotics, and motion control systems, including sensors, actuators, drives, and safety circuits.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings, and collaborate effectively with electrical and mechanical teams.
  • Experience in system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site support in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety, reliability, and quality.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, and openness to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites when required and to work flex
