Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Hybrid working arrangement (2 days per week based at our Kuala Lumpur office)
  • Contract Duration: Immediate commencement until 31 December 2026 (approximately six (6) months)
  • Consultancy Fee: RM2,500 per month (mileage claim is provided as well)
  • Engagement Type: Contract for Service
  • Expected Start Date: Immediate


What You’ll Do:

Baseline Assessment Report

  • Conduct desk reviews and background research.
  • Support data collection and stakeholder input gathering.
  • Organise and synthesise consultation and FGD findings.
  • Assist with drafting, editing, and consolidation of the Baseline Assessment Report


Training Template Design

  • Support the development of youth workshop training templates.
  • Translate research findings from the consultations and FGDs into practical learning modules and workshop structures.
  • Contribute to session flow, learning objectives, and content development.
  • Work closely with implementing partners and facilitators to incorporate feedback and align training design with project objectives.


Stakeholder Consultations & FGDs

  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct stakeholder consultations and FGDs together with the Project Lead.
  • Support participant recruitment and coordination for consultations, FGDs, and relevant project activities.
  • Coordinate logistics, attendance, and required materials for consultations and FGDs.
  • Prepare discussion guides, facilitation notes, consent forms, attendance sheets, and documentation tools.
  • Undertake facilitation, note-taking, and documentation during consultations and FGDs.
  • Consolidate findings and prepare summary reports.


Participant Recruitment and Coordination

  • Assist the Project Lead in identifying, recruiting, and coordinating participants for the youth project.
  • Support communication with community representatives, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Maintain participant lists, confirmation trackers, attendance records, and related documentation.
  • Assist with follow-ups to ensure participant attendance and smooth coordination of project activities.


Workshop Documentation Support

  • Support documentation during selected workshops, where required.
  • Assist with attendance tracking, participant information, feedback forms, and activity records.
  • Consolidate workshop observations, participant feedback, and key learning points.
  • Support preparation of post-workshop summaries and reporting inputs.


Reporting and Funder/Partner Documentation Support

  • Assist in preparing reporting inputs for funders, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the consolidation of project updates, activity summaries, output tracking, participant data, and supporting evidence.
  • Assist in preparing tables, figures, narratives, and documentation required for funder/partner reports.
  • Ensure relevant project documents, attendance records, feedback forms, photos, and other supporting materials are properly organised for reporting and audit purposes.


General Research and Project Support

  • Undertake additional research, documentation, administrative, and project coordination tasks as required by WOW.
  • Support the organisation of project files, records, supporting documents, and evidence for reporting purposes.


Requirement:

  • Able to commit until 31 December 2026
  • Able to start immediately
  • Available to attend consultations, FGDs, workshops, and project activities as required.
