Marketing Executive / Lead Generation Executive (Asia)

About us

Steinbach & Vollmann (STUV) is a German manufacturer with over 140 years in high-security locking. We focus on high-security access control and locking solutions for critical infrastructure and correctional facilities, with branches and presence across China, Singapore, Dubai, Australia, and South Africa.

The role

This is primarily an outbound lead-generation role, not a social media or paid-ads role. Your main job is to find the right companies and decision-makers across Asia, reach out to them by email and LinkedIn, and get a response or an appointment. Once a prospect is warm, our BD team takes over to meet the customer — you open the door, we walk through it.

Alongside the lead-gen work, you'll also support our German marketing team on broader marketing efforts (roughly 30% of the role).

What you'll actually do:

• Research and identify target companies and decision-makers across key verticals in Asia (LinkedIn, industry sources, etc.)
• Run outbound outreach by email and LinkedIn to generate responses and set appointments for the BD team
• Build and manage a clean pipeline of leads, and follow up consistently
• Support the German marketing team on campaigns and wider marketing activity (~30%)
• Contribute your own ideas on how we can reach and grow the market

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in lead generation, business development, B2B outreach, or similar
• Fluent English and Mandarin is a must; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus
• German is a bonus, not a requirement
• Comfortable doing research and outbound outreach — this role is closer to a sales-development role than a campaigns role
• A self-starter who's proactive, persistent, and brings their own ideas to a small, fast-moving team

• KL-based preferred — we'll meet often for updates and planning
• No travel required for now
• Once or twice a year you may visit our HQ in Düsseldorf, Germany
