  • Lead and oversee multiple IT programs and projects from planning through implementation, ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
  • Define program roadmaps, objectives, governance structures, and delivery strategies that support broader business and technology goals.
  • Manage end-to-end project execution, including scope definition, resource planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Partner with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to drive alignment, manage expectations, and ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Establish effective governance and reporting mechanisms, providing regular updates on project health, risks, dependencies, financials, and overall program performance.
  • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and bottlenecks, implementing mitigation and contingency plans to minimize delivery impact.
  • Oversee project resource allocation and utilization, ensuring teams are appropriately staffed and supported to meet delivery commitments.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to project managers and delivery teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Drive adherence to project management frameworks, delivery standards, and quality controls across all initiatives.
  • Monitor program performance through KPIs, metrics, and project reviews, using insights to improve execution effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Manage project financials, including budget planning, expenditure tracking, cost optimization, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure all technology initiatives comply with organizational policies, governance requirements, and industry best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience delivering large-scale IT projects and programs, including at least 5 years in a leadership or program management capacity.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, enterprise-wide technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, teams, and workstreams.
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery frameworks, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Proven experience in program governance, portfolio management, budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives, business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience building, mentoring, and managing high-performing project teams.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, particularly in fast-paced and complex environments.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive reporting skills.
