Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Talent Development Consultant to join a leading training provider. In this role, you will advise SME business owners and HR leaders on talent development, leadership, employee engagement, and organizational development solutions.

As a Team Lead, you will coach and develop a small team of consultants. You will also manage your own clients and hit your personal sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Advisory & Sales
  • Lead consultative discussions with SME clients (business owners, HR leaders or senior management teams) to understand and identify organisational and workforce-related challenges.
  • Recommend solutions like leadership training, e-learning, and team building from company's diagnostic tools and methodologies.
  • Create and present high-quality business proposals & solutions to clients.
  • Own and drive personal sales and gross profit targets.
  • Build strong rapport with clients, identify opportunities to expand and deepen client partnerships
  • Team Leadership & Coaching
  • Lead, coach, and manage 1–2 Talent Development Consultants on client engagement, diagnosis, proposal quality, and stakeholder management
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews
  • Support consultant onboarding and capability development
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Product Development & Solutions team to customise interventions for business impact
  • Share client feedback with marketing to help make better campaigns.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of programs by working closely with Operations.
  • Partner with Product Development & Solutions, Marketing, Business Development, and Operations/Delivery teams to ensure solution quality, smooth implementation, and strong client outcomes
  • Stay current on trends in talent development, L&D, HR technology, and AI-enabled learning solutions

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field
  • 5 to 8 years in talent development, corporate training, or HR consulting
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading team members
  • Experience in consultative stakeholder engagement, proposal presentation, and solution recommendation to business owners
  • Familiarity with HRD Corp or grantable learning solutions
  • Experience with HR Tech, assessments, AI-enabled learning, or talent analytics is a plus
  • Strong organisational diagnosis and strategic problem-solving ability
  • Excellent stakeholder influence, presentation, and consultative communication skills
  • Must have own transport and be willing to travel to meet clients
