Job Summary

You will perform routine building maintenance to ensure a safe and functional environment, handling repairs, inspections, and supply management to support smooth supermarket operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing doors, painting, and conducting minor electrical and plumbing repairs to maintain facility safety and functionality
• Inspect control panels and electrical wiring to identify and address urgent issues promptly
• Take inventory of maintenance supplies and report when stock is low or depleted to ensure availability of necessary materials
• Respond promptly to emergency repair and clean-up requests to minimize operational disruptions
• Maintain all maintenance tools and equipment in good working order to ensure readiness and safety
• Carry out additional maintenance duties as assigned by management to support overall facility upkeep

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Technical knowledge in electrical or plumbing to enhance maintenance effectiveness
• Physical fitness and hands-on ability to perform maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
