Job Description

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee the finance operations across 3 entities within our group, including a , family office, fund company and mobile game studio.

This is a sole contributor role, ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing the full finance function independently in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Handle full-set accounting, including General Ledger (GL) management, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements across 3 entities.
  • Manage payroll operations including salary processing, CPF submissions, and payslips.
  • Ensure timely submission of management reports and financial reporting deliverables.
  • Oversee tax-related matters including GST, corporate tax filing, and coordination with tax authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), local regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manage all accounting matters of the assigned legal entities within the group to ensure compliance with SFRS, local GAAP, group policies, and MAS reporting requirements.
  • Review and process payments with proper supporting documentation and approvals.
  • Improve and streamline finance workflows and automation processes through technology tools.
  • Work closely with external auditors, corporate secretaries, banks, and relevant stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting firms, or finance-related roles.
  • Strong experience in full-set accounting and handling multiple entities independently.
  • Good understanding of Singapore financial reporting and tax regulations.
  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with VBA or automation tools.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently with strong ownership.
  • Comfortable operating in a lean and fast-moving environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with stakeholders.
