The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be our first major technical hire below the CTO/CTPO level.

This is a hands-on builder role. You will work directly with the founder to turn the HealthID vision into a real, pilot-ready product for insurers.

You will not be sitting in a big engineering team picking up tidy tickets. You will be taking product ideas, customer problems and technical concepts, then turning them into working software.

We need someone who can move fast, think clearly, use AI tools aggressively, and build across the stack.

What You’ll Build

You will help build the first production-grade HealthID platform, including:

• Member onboarding and health profile flows
• Insurer dashboards and campaign tools
• Wearable and health data integrations
• AI-assisted health and behaviour insights
• Rewards and incentive logic
• Privacy, consent and verification workflows
• Cohort analytics and programme reporting
• Internal tools, simulations and demos for insurer pilots

What We’re Looking For

You are a senior full-stack engineer who likes building real things.

You are comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration and small-team ownership. You can take a rough product idea and turn it into a working feature. You care about clean architecture, but you do not need six months to ship.

You should have:

• Strong full-stack engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript / JavaScript skills
• Experience with modern web apps, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure
• Good frontend judgment — dashboards, workflows and enterprise UI
• Experience building production software, not just prototypes
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar
• Strong product instincts
• Comfort working with sensitive data, privacy, security and enterprise requirements
• Ability to communicate clearly with founders, advisors, customers and non-technical stakeholders

Bonus Points

Useful but not required:

• Healthtech, insurtech, fintech, wellness, loyalty or enterprise SaaS experience
• Wearable data experience: Apple Health, Garmin, Oura, WHOOP, Fitbit, labs or health APIs
• AI agents, LLM apps or AI workflow automation
• Privacy-preserving systems, verifiable credentials, ZK proofs, consent or digital identity
• B2B dashboards, analytics platforms or business intelligence tools
• Experience in regulated industries
• APAC market experience
