Job Description
Responsibilities
Manage and support school discipline operations, including managing late-coming, in-house suspensions, detentions, and student pull-out programmes.
Serve as a dedicated mentor for students who require closer guidance and support.
Engage with students in respectful, positive, and constructive ways.
Conduct regular patrols of school grounds—including classroom blocks, the canteen, basketball courts, and the field—during recess and lunch times.
Perform physical monitoring and patrolling of school premises and the surrounding neighborhood after formal school curriculum hours.
Assist in investigating behavioral incidents using a Restorative Practices approach.
Obtain official student and witness statements to pass to the Student Management Key Personnel (KPs) for formal follow-up.
Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and students to close the loop on outstanding cases.
Enforcement Background: Must have a minimum of 5 years of former working experience in an enforcement agency.
Teamwork: Proven track record of working effectively as part of a team and strictly maintaining established operational work processes.
Behavioral Intervention: Ability to deliver calm, measured, and proportionate behavioral interventions.
Professionalism: Demonstrates sound judgment, utmost discretion, fairness, and strict confidentiality during case investigations.
Communication: Firm yet respectful approach when engaging and working with youth.
Collaboration: A collaborative working style to interface smoothly with teachers and the Student Management committee.
Technical Proficiency: Basic digital skills, including the use of MS Word, MS Excel, handling emails, and accurate data entry.
