Requirements

  •  SPM / Diploma / Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Interior Design, or related field 
  •  1–3 years in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles (fresh graduates welcome) 
  •  Bahasa Malaysia & English; Mandarin is an advantage 
  •  Communication, negotiation, product presentation, CRM tools 
  •  Own transport preferred; willing to work weekends/public holidays (showroom environment) 

Responsibilities

Role Overview

A Solution Consultant at Homa2u bridges the gap between customer needs and the company's product offerings. Unlike a traditional sales assistant, this role requires a consultative approach — understanding the client's renovation or construction needs and recommending the right materials and packages.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Consultation

  • Engage walk-in customers, leads, and prospects to understand their renovation or construction needs
  • Present and recommend suitable building materials, bathroom packages, and home finishing products
  • Conduct product demonstrations and walkthroughs (showroom or on-site)
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals
  • Close sales and meet individual/team monthly targets

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with homeowners, contractors, and developers
  • Handle after-sales follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally

Product Knowledge

  • Stay up to date on Homa2u's product range (tiles, sanitary ware, building materials, etc.)
  • Educate customers on eco-friendly and sustainable material options
  • Articulate the value of overstock/repurposed materials vs. standard retail

Administrative & Reporting

  • Record sales activities and customer interactions in CRM or internal systems
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management
  • Coordinate with logistics/operations for order fulfilment and delivery scheduling
