Requirements

 Job Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma Culinary Art, Food Service, Hotel Management certificates in any relevant field or SPM.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position e.g. bakeshop, cake shop, hotel & restaurants.
  • Good knowledge of basic MS Office suite and Google tool set.
  • Good knowledge of oral and written English.

Position skills

  • Knowledge in baking, and cooking ;
  • Knowledge on applicational instruments and tools;
  • Knowledge in chocolate, margarine or vegetable cream;
  • Integrity and approachability, must feel able to discuss with customers about complaints and the whole application range of our products;
  • Willingness in being part of a company both Malaysian and Italian, as its product represent two nations;

Responsibilities

 

Job Description:

  • Handled responsibilities of performing application testing of finish product under the guidelines of the work instruction.
  • Assigned the measuring and weighing foods as well as conduct simple testing of food.
  • Reports any finding for the application test done.
  • Sharing opinion & valuable recommendations in improving quality and taste food.
  • Assist in ensuring that the product taste, aroma and quality remains same in every packing.
  • Assist in the preparation & production of pastry product for the product presentation or demo during the clients visit.
  • Receive and check in goods against invoice for quantity, Halal Certification and quality.
  • Ensure that all goods are quickly and correctly stored away on rotation system following the rule 'first in, first out' and comply with health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas at all times.
  • Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to customers and clients in all areas of service.
  • Participate in any necessary training and team meeting as required to complete job responsibilities to the company's and client's standards e.g., health & safety, food hygiene.
  • Work as a team to promote harmonious working relationships within team.
  • Assist at any special ad-hoc functions, some of which may occur outside working hours.
  • Report any customer complaints or compliments which needs serious attention immediately.
  • Report immediately any incidents of accidents, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food or other irregularities and take such or advice as may be appropriate.
  • Working closely with QC, QA & R&D department.
  • Necessary task as ordered.
