Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent, detail-focused, and enthusiastic Account Assistant / Account Executive to aid in the daily accounting and finance functions of the company. Recent graduates are welcome to apply. Training and mentorship will be provided to help the selected candidate enhance their accounting skills and advance their career.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Handle the processing of vendor invoices, payments, and customer billings.
- Prepare and send out invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Track customer collections and monitor outstanding balances.
- Reconcile statements from suppliers and customers.
General Accounting
- Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records and documentation.
- Conduct data entry and update accounting transactions regularly.
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
- Implement effective filing systems for accounting documents.
Financial Reporting
- Aid in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
- Assist with month-end closing processes.
- Prepare accounting schedules and related supporting documentation.
Audit & Compliance
- Help prepare documentation for audit and tax purposes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
- Support compliance with statutory and financial reporting requirements.
Carry out any additional administrative and accounting tasks as assigned by Management.
