Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Shipyard Hot Work Assessor Certificate.
• Must possess a valid Confined Space Assessor Certificate.
• Able to work onboard vessels and offshore facilities.
• No sea sickness and medically fit to travel by boat when required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and make sound safety decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of hot work locations to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Assess work areas and endorse Hot Work Permits where applicable.
• Carry out gas testing and safety assessments in accordance with relevant regulations and company procedures.
• Liaise and communicate effectively with clients, vessel personnel, terminals, and contractors.
• Ensure all safety documentation and permit requirements are properly completed.
• Provide professional advice on hot work and confined space safety matters.

Working Conditions:

• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and after office hours when operationally required.
• Willing to travel to shipyards, terminals, vessels, and offshore locations as assigned.
