JOB SUMMARY
To provide technical support, system administration, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of systems, networks, hardware, software, and end-user services to support daily business operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide second-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and support desktop computers, laptops, printers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, network systems, internet connectivity, and communication systems.
- Diagnose and resolve system, network, and user-related issues efficiently to minimize operational downtime.
- Administer user accounts, system access permissions, email accounts, and IT resources.
- Perform system updates, patches, software deployments, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Monitor system performance, security alerts, backups, and recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
- Assist in managing IT assets, software licenses, and inventory records.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and contractors for IT support, maintenance, and project implementation.
- Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, operating procedures, and support records.
- Support the implementation of new systems, infrastructure upgrades, and technology improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity requirements, and information security standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to System Support Assistants and end-users when required.
- Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and cybersecurity awareness activities.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum one (1) year of working experience in IT support, system administration, network administration, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience in troubleshooting system, network, hardware, software, and user-related issues.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory environments.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network security concepts.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Experience with server administration, virtualization, backup solutions, and cybersecurity practices will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, ticketing systems, and operational technology systems will be an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
