Retail Supervisor (Full-Time)
Location: Cyberjaya
Work Arrangement: Fully On-Site
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Retail Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, lead the retail team, and drive sales performance. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and capable of maintaining high operational standards while ensuring an excellent shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations & Sales Performance
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail outlet, ensuring smooth and efficient store performance.
- Monitor sales performance and support initiatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Analyze sales trends, customer insights, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Execute promotional campaigns, marketing activities, and seasonal initiatives effectively.
Customer Service Excellence
- Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Develop strong product knowledge to confidently assist customers and provide suitable recommendations.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Supervise, motivate, and support retail team members to achieve operational and sales objectives.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance, leave applications, and manpower planning.
- Conduct on-the-job coaching and training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment.
Inventory & Merchandising
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock-taking activities.
- Ensure products are priced, displayed, and merchandised according to company guidelines and promotional requirements.
Cash & Administrative Management
- Manage cash handling procedures, daily sales reconciliation, and operational reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, expenses, and store documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and internal controls.
Store Maintenance & Compliance
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and hygienic retail environment.
- Ensure all operational and safety standards are consistently followed.
- Stay informed of new products, promotions, and company updates to effectively support business objectives.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in any field.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Previous experience in retail operations, retail supervision, or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Able to work independently and lead a team effectively.
- Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shift schedules when required.
- Experience in hospitality, aviation, hotel operations, or other customer service industries is an added advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
