Training Manager – Security Operations Training

Location: Cyberjaya & Greater Kuala Lumpur
Salary: RM5,000 – RM5,800 per month

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Training Manager to lead and manage training programs for our security operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring all security personnel are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to deliver high-standard security services across our client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and conduct training programs for security personnel.
• Manage onboarding, pre-assignment training, and refresher briefings.
• Ensure officers fully understand post orders, emergency response procedures, and escalation protocols.
• Conduct competency assessments and identify training needs.
• Maintain training records, attendance reports, and training documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, HR, Recruitment, and Site Management teams.
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support deployment readiness and operational excellence across all assigned sites.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Previous law enforcement, military, or extensive security operations experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Experience conducting classroom and practical training sessions.
• Ability to travel within Cyberjaya and Greater Kuala Lumpur when required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation.
• Data Centre security experience will be an added advantage.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence and own transport.

Preferred Skills

• Training Needs Analysis (TNA) experience.
• Knowledge of security operations, incident response, and emergency management.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate adult learners.
