Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop PCB layouts based on engineering requirements and customer specifications.
• Create, modify, and optimize PCB layouts using PCB design software.
• Generate Gerber files, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Perform PCB reverse engineering from existing boards, samples, or customer-provided data.
• Recreate schematics and PCB layouts for repair, refurbishment, and replacement purposes.
• Create and maintain component libraries, footprints, and design databases.
• Support PCB troubleshooting, repair analysis, and failure investigation activities.
• Work closely with technicians and engineers to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
• Ensure PCB designs comply with IPC standards and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) requirements.
• Support prototype build, testing, validation, and engineering changes.
• Maintain proper document control and revision records.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in PCB layout design or PCB design.
• Fresh graduates with strong PCB design projects are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in PCB design software.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly processes, and manufacturing requirements.
• Familiar with multilayer PCB design and PCB layout best practices.
• Experience in PCB repair, refurbishment, reverse engineering, or troubleshooting is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of IPC standards and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) concepts is preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Will based at HQ Durian Tunggal, Melaka.

Preferred Skills

• Reverse engineering of obsolete or damaged PCBs.
• Component identification and replacement.
• PCB cloning and schematic recreation.
• Experience with industrial, automation, semiconductor, or test equipment PCBs.
• Basic electronic troubleshooting using test instruments.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,999.00 per month
