Job Requirement :

• Ensure attired in such as a way would distinctively identify as the lifting supervisor;
• Coordinate all lifting activities accordance with lifting plan.
• Read the MSRA for each activities and plan for requirements for each activity
• Be present during all lifting operations to ensure that the lift is carried out in accordance with the lifting plan.
• Ensure that only registered crane operators, appointed riggers and appointed signalman participate in any lifting operation involving the use of mobile crane, crawler crane, tower crane, lorry loader/ crane and winches;
• Ensure the ground conditions are safe for any lifting operations to be performed by any crane;
• Ensure that all outriggers (if any) are fully extended, secured and seated on a firm and sound outrigger sole base plates;
• Ensure and ascertain the weight of load, correct type of lifting gears to be used and lifting operation is within the crane's capacity;
• Unless he is present to supervise a lifting operation, ensure that there is a set of lifting procedures for any lifting operation by any cranes;
• Brief to all lifting team (crane operators, riggers and signalmen) on the safe lifting procedures, Lifting plan & Risk Assessment.
• If any unsatisfactory or unsafe conditions being reported to him by any crane operator, rigger or signalman, take such measures to rectify the unsatisfactory or unsafe conditions or otherwise ensure that any lifting operation is carried out safely;
• To immediately instructs lifting operations to be stop if he found that it is unsafe to do so;
• Monitor and ensure the maintenance and inspection programmes of all cranes;
• Ensure and monitor daily checks carried out by crane operators before every work shift and ensure that all limit switches are in operational conditions, not bypassed and is functioning properly
• Check the daily PTW system and make sure all activities shall be covered by PTW system
• Check the assigned activities at site and make sure works shall ongoing well with quality and safety .
• Prepare min 3 days in advance DWI to delegate work daily to individual crew.
• Attend the project client coordination meeting and update the requirements for progress .
• Monitor and Daily update for work status to Field Engineer.
• Update ( feedback ) to CM and PM for the site construction details regularly .
