Job Description

Quality Control (QC)

• Conduct inspections on incoming materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Detect, document, and follow up on non-conforming materials and products
• Maintain and coordinate the calibration of measuring and testing equipment
• Support customer inspections and quality-related assessment activities

Quality Assurance (QA)

• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including Material Test Certificates (MTC), Product Quality Plans (PQP), and other related records
• Perform supplier assessments and site audits to ensure quality compliance
• Provide support during customer audits and certification assessments

Environmental Management

• Monitor scheduled waste management, air emission control systems, and industrial effluent treatment processes
• Conduct environmental inspections, awareness programs, and compliance checks in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Assist in environmental audits conducted by customers and certification bodies

Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S)

• Participate in investigations of workplace incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases
• Ensure lifting equipment and tools are properly certified, maintained, and operated safely
• Conduct safety inspections, toolbox briefings, and compliance evaluations
• Support safety audits performed by customers and certification authorities

General Duties

• Ensure compliance with the Company's Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) in line with applicable regulations and international standards
• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Quality, Environmental, and/or Occupational Health & Safety functions
• Familiarity with mechanical testing, XRF analysis, metallurgical inspection, ISO standards, environmental regulations, fire safety requirements, and workplace safety practices will be an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English for documentation and reporting purposes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
