Job Description: Quality Technician/Specialist

Salary: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preliminary investigation for Non-Conformance (NC) cases, including failure cause, problem statement, issue originator, and risk analysis.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, or other problem-solving methods.
• Own and monitor Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) until closure.
• Ensure standardization, process control, and quality compliance are maintained.
• Monitor trends and provide early warning for potential quality risks.
• Promote strong quality mindset and behaviour across production teams.
• Coach operators and supervisors on cross-functional problem solving.
• Provide quality feedback to operators and supervisors for continuous improvement.
• Prevent recurrence of quality issues through effective containment and action plans.
• Focus on reducing supplier escapee, scrap, rework, and customer complaints.
• Support quality involvement in change management activities.

Requirements:

• Experience in Quality / Manufacturing / Engineering environment.
• Hands-on experience in RCA, CAPA, NC/NCR handling, audit, or continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and able to work with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, SPC is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willing to work in manufacturing environment / shift if required.

Pay: Up to RM5,000.00 per month
