Job Summary:

We are seeking a BCS Technician with hands-on experience in managing, operating, and maintaining Building Control Systems (BCS) such as HVAC controls, lighting automation, and energy management systems. The ideal candidate will support the facility’s automation and monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and energy efficiency. Immediate availability to start is highly preferred.

Job Description:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain the Building Control System (BCS), including HVAC, lighting, and energy control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building automation systems and programmable logic controllers (PLC).
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of BCS equipment, control panels, sensors, and actuators.
• Monitor real-time system performance and generate reports on energy usage, faults, and alarms.
• Support the configuration and calibration of control systems to meet operational needs.
• Coordinate with other technical teams and vendors for system upgrades, repairs, or replacements.
• Assist in the commissioning of new BCS equipment and ensure proper integration with existing systems.
• Maintain detailed records of system activities, updates, and maintenance logs.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure all system-related work complies with industry and safety standards.
• Participate in emergency response operations and facility shutdowns related to system failures.

Job Requirement:

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Mechatronics, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining Building Control Systems or automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of BMS/BCS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, Johnson Controls).
• Familiar with HVAC system operation and energy management principles.
• Able to read technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and control schematics.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit, reliable, and responsible.
• Immediate availability to join is an added advantage.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
