Position Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage the company’s day-to-day financial transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for recording financial data, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and supporting the overall accuracy of financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments).
- Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accounts are accurate and up to date.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-up.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process payroll and maintain employee expense records (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local accounting regulations.
- Support the finance team and external auditors during audits.
- Monitor cash flow and provide basic financial insights to management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, or similar role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SQL, or similar).
- Strong MS Excel and data entry skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not always required).
Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
