Retail Executive / Senior Retail Assistant (Full-Time / Part-Time)

We are looking for a passionate and customer-oriented Retail Executive / Senior Retail Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily retail operations, delivering excellent customer service, managing inventory, supporting merchandising activities, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Coordinate merchandising, stock replenishment, and administrative activities.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and effective teamwork.
Sales & Cash Management
- Process cash and cashless transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare daily sales reports and maintain accurate operational records.
- Ensure proper documentation of sales, stock receipts, and financial transactions.
Visual Merchandising
- Maintain attractive product displays and ensure accurate pricing in accordance with company standards.
- Execute merchandising plans for promotions, festive campaigns, and new product launches.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers with product recommendations and provide guidance on baking ingredients, tools, and techniques.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Manage stock ordering, receiving, inventory updates, and replenishment activities.
- Monitor inventory levels, particularly fast-moving and perishable products.
- Conduct regular stock counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Implement proper stock rotation (FIFO) and monitor product expiry dates.
- Ensure products are stored and handled according to quality and food safety standards.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure adequate operational coverage.
- Support, guide, and motivate team members to achieve service and operational goals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Product Knowledge & Customer Engagement
- Stay updated on baking trends, ingredients, tools, and specialty products.
- Support product demonstrations, sampling sessions, workshops, and customer engagement activities.
Online & Order Management
- Process online, phone, and social media orders.
- Coordinate order packing, delivery arrangements, and customer collections.
- Maintain accurate product information, pricing, and inventory records in company systems.
Store Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic retail environment.
- Ensure compliance with company operational procedures, food handling requirements, and safety standards.
Promotions & Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns, festive sales, and marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
Requirements
- Passionate about retail and customer service with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Friendly, confident, and customer-focused personality.
- Good communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Responsible, dependable, and eager to learn.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shift schedules when required.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with strong customer service experience are encouraged to apply.
- Must be able to commute to Cyberjaya.

Pay: RM8.00 - RM9.00 per hour
