Responsibilities
We are seeking a passionate and guest-focused Server to join our casual Italian restaurant team and help deliver outstanding dining experiences.
What You Will Be Doing:
Provide warm, friendly and professional service to all guests from arrival to departure, following restaurant service standards and SOPs.
Assist guests while seating, present menus and take accurate food and beverage orders.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner and ensure all items are presented according to restaurant standards.
Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, daily specials and Italian dining culture, and answer guest questions or make recommendations.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar regarding orders, special requests and product availability to ensure smooth service flow.
Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and handle basic guest enquiries and feedback politely and promptly, escalating issues to the Supervisor/Captain when needed.
Set up and clear tables, maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and side stations, and ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are met at all times.
Support the team in opening and closing duties, including preparation, restocking and simple inventory checks of operating supplies.
What We Are Looking For:
Possess experience working in fine-dining restaurants would be advantageous
With customer-service oriented mindset and able to deliver fantastic service in a high profile venue
Great presentation and conversational skills
Passionate about people and able to develop and grow with your team
A high level of energy and a good team player
Fluent in Cantonese & English and Mandarin will be an advantage.
