Hong Kong Air Cargo Carrier Limited Hiring! Full Time Manager, Fleet Technical in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Technical Services and Maintenance Planning functions effectively in the following areas: reliability, aircraft safety, aircraft maintenance schedule development, cost-effectiveness, vendor liaison, maintenance organization support, support of customer departments including Cargo, Flight Operations, Safety and Ground Operations;

• Develop related Fleet Technical Management (FTM)/Technical Services/Maintenance Planning policies;

• Ensure the proper arrangement of FTM of Company’s fleet provided by suppliers. Maintaining communications with FTM suppliers and HKCAD;

• Work with FTM service provider to ensure the Aircraft Maintenance Schedule (AMS) to be issued and approved by HKCAD;

• Manage and control the applicable Airworthiness Directives to ensure they are complied with;

• Liaise and coordinate with other departments/sections in Hong Kong Air Cargo Carrier and contracted maintenance organizations with regards to matters concerning the technical services and other technical issues;

• Review the aircraft reliability data provided through the reliability programme, and attend the monthly reliability meeting;

• Review and propose MME/EPM amendments, as required, to the Manager Quality Assurance to ensure continuous improvement and regulatory requirement compliance in the area of Technical Services and Maintenance Planning;

• Make the FTM/Technical Services/Maintenance Planning budget and implement after it is approved. Review the invoices from relevant service providers and vet accordingly;

• Other duties or projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• A degree in Engineering, major in Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, Electrical or other Engineering preferable;

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (issued or accepted by HKCAD) holder preferable;

• At least 10 years of large aircraft maintenance, and/or technical service/FTM experience;

• Experienced in AD/SB management, AMS development/management and aircraft reliability management;

• Have attended HKCAD Airworthiness Course or equivalent preferable;

• Good command of spoken & written English;

• Polished interpersonal and communication skills.
