JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistics Operational Oversight: Assist Logistics Manager to manage and oversee all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Ensure that logistics operations run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. Monitor and evaluate the performance of logistics processes and implement necessary improvements.
Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of logistics professionals. Conduct regular team meetings to align goals and ensure effective communication.
Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize logistics workflows to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance logistics performance. Collaborate with IT and other departments to leverage technology in streamlining operations.
Transportation Management: Oversee the coordination and management of shipment execution. Manage relationships with carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Support to monitor transportation costs and optimize routes and methods to reduce expenses.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all logistics operations comply with company policies and relevant regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards. Manage customs compliance and documentation for international shipments.
Budget and Cost Management: Manage the logistics operations budget, ensuring cost control and efficiency. Track and report on operational costs, identifying opportunities for savings.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations. Stay current with industry trends and innovations to maintain a competitive edge. Implement training programs for staff to improve skills and performance.
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with other departments, including Inventory Management, customer service, and Merchandising, to ensure alignment of logistics operations with business needs. Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics-related inquiries and issues. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to ensure smooth logistics operations.

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
Solid experience in logistics and 3PL management preferred.
Minimum 2 years relevant experience, preferably in PPE industry.
Good analytic skills and sensitive to figures.
Initiative, independent, well-organized, responsible.
Well-versed in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Good written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
Familiar with logistics operations in trading company is plus
