Role Introduction

Talent Trek Ascend Limited is seeking Simulator Instructors to support our professional aviation training programmes.

The role involves delivering simulator instruction using TTA’s Cessna 172, Diamond DA40, self-training devices. Instructors will conduct briefings, simulator sessions and debriefings, assess student performance and maintain accurate training records.

Safety, professionalism and instructional quality are central to all TTA activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver simulator instruction according to TTA lesson plans, training manuals and procedures.
• Conduct pre-session briefings, simulator exercises and post-session debriefings.
• Teach basic flight handling, circuits, navigation, instrument flying and emergency procedures.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students.
• Complete lesson reports, progress records and simulator usage logs.
• Review previous training records and plan lessons according to student progress.
• Participate in instructor training, assessments and standardisation checks.
• Maintain a safe, professional and encouraging learning environment.

Requirements

Candidates must meet at least one of the following:

• Hold or have previously held a CPL(A), ATPL(A) or equivalent flight crew licence;
• Hold a valid pilot licence;
• Be a current student pilot with suitable flight training experience; or
• Have relevant flying, flight training or simulator experience on the Cessna 172, Diamond DA40 or a comparable aircraft or simulator.

Candidates should also:

• Have suitable knowledge of flight operations, procedures and aviation safety.
• Be able to explain flying techniques clearly and deliver structured instruction.
• Be able to assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Have good spoken and written English.
• Be able to work with students of different backgrounds and experience levels.
• Be willing to complete TTA simulator-specific training and internal assessment.
• Be available for evening, weekend and school holiday duties when required.

Instructor Authorisation

Instructors will only be authorised to teach on simulators and programmes for which they have completed the required TTA training, assessment and standardisation.

Student pilots and PPL holders may initially be assigned to basic simulator instruction, experience sessions, school programmes or supervised training duties according to their experience and TTA authorisation.
