Title: Research & Development Packaging Engineer (Corrugated Packaging Industry)

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing innovative and cost-effective packaging solutions for industrial applications. The role focuses on improving packaging performance, logistics efficiency, and sustainability for products such as corrugated cartons, EPE foam packaging, wooden crates, and pallets.
• Develop new packaging designs and improve existing designs for corrugated cartons, EPE foam, wooden crates, and pallet systems.
• Work with customers’ engineering teams to develop packaging solutions that improve product protection, cost efficiency, and container loading.
• Conduct packaging testing and validation such as drop, compression, and transit tests.
• Prepare structural drawings, mockups, and prototypes for customer evaluation.
• Work with production teams to ensure packaging designs are practical for manufacturing.
• Evaluate new materials or packaging concepts to improve performance or reduce cost.
• Support packaging improvement projects and technical discussions with customers.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 1–2 years experience in packaging design, packaging engineering, product development, or related manufacturing field.
• Knowledge of corrugated packaging, foam cushioning, and/or wooden packaging systems
• Basic understanding of packaging testing and product protection
• Ability to prepare structural drawings or CAD designs
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
