Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our security team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Network Security, demonstrable success in managing security-focused projects, and a strong background in Security Operations Center (SOC) processes and Incident Response (IR). A critical

component of this role is supporting our ongoing cloud migration efforts. Excellent technical and professional communication skills are paramount.

Responsibilities

Network & Infrastructure Security (Strong Technical Focus)

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across the network infrastructure, including firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Check Point), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).
• Develop and enforce network segmentation strategies, Zero Trust principles, and access control policies (e.g., NAC).
• Manage and optimize network logging infrastructure for effective monitoring and threat hunting.
  
  

Project Management & Implementation

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex security projects, such as large-scale firewall deployments, new security tool integrations, and major policy overhauls.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, managing timelines and resources effectively to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation and run books for implemented solutions.
  
  

Security Operations & Incident Response (SOC/IR)

• Act as a Tier 2/3 escalation point for the SOC, performing advanced analysis of security alerts, logs, and threat intelligence.
• Contribute to the tuning and optimization of SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and other security monitoring tools.
  
  

Skills And Experience We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Information Security, with a focus on network and infrastructure security.
• Technical Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with routing, switching, TCP/IP, and security protocols.
• Cloud: Proven experience in securing, migrating, or deploying workloads in at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders (including executive summaries).
